How to root Xiomi Redmi 3s

As the header says i will show you how to Root any Marshmallow-based MIUI ROM for REDMI 3S/PRIME without losing stock recovery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Unlocked bootloader  APPLY HERE : http://en.miui.com/unlock
• Redmi 3S with android 6.0
• TWRP INSTALLER TOOL: https://www.fshare.vn/file/AN8T78AHCYLR    

HOW TO USE

1. Download and extract tools you will have files as follow:
   
2. Run "twrp-installer.bat" and it will show: 
   
3.  Enter fastboot mode on your Redmi 3S then follow the guide on screen.
   
4. After it finishes, phone will automatically boot into recovery mode. At the first time it will ask for modifiying system or keep it read-only.
   - If you choose "Mount system partition read-only", you will get OTA updates for the Official ROM normally
   - If you swipe to allow system modifications, just one more step need to be done after that is go to: Advance setting > Disable dm-verity to let your phone boot normally. Otherwise, it will stuck at Mi logo. 
   
   

NOTE: Remember that after you selected option which allow to modify system, you cannot install OTA update. To install OTA update, you will need to download fastboot ROM then flash it via Mi Flash (select "flash except data and storage" to avoid losing data, however you should always make your own backup first).

5. Now you can reboot or continue to use TWRP Recovery.
